This Spanish brand, created almost a hundred years ago, has been through a lot of changes. Originally, Castañer designed espadrilles with laces. Over the years, they had a lot of ups and downs with success. It was in the 1970s that the brand made a big comeback, thanks to Yves Saint Laurent, who ordered the very first wedge espadrilles from Castañer. A true success that breathed new life into the brand.
