A Japanese brand founded in 1949 by Mr Kiachiro Onitsuka in Kobe, Asics is now recognised worldwide for the quality of its products and its technological superiority. The name Asics is an acronym of the Latin phrase Anima Sana in Copore Sano, meaning ‘a healthy mind in a healthy body’.
