Created in the middle of the 60's by Marithé & François Girbaud used a washing procedure that allowed them to create a used or aged effect on all textile types. The success was almost immediate and when one of their models appeared in the 80's film Flashdance, and they gained more influence and entrenched themselves deeper in the fashion industry. Since then, the brand has continued to create new technologies - always proposing innovative collections that can lead fashion trends.
