It was in 1999 that Didier Bertrand, a dietician and lover of all things food, opened his first cake boutique in Paris' 9th arrondissement. With the help of stylist and decorator Adolphe Besnard, he opened a tea room in 2001 where cuisine and retro style came together. Cakes, chocolate, and handbags shared the same space, to the happiness of pleasure seeking fashionistas. The success was so great that he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to selling vintage accessories. Today, the brand is known worldwide.
