Hugo Boss: the rule of elegance

An international group specialising in ready-to-wear clothing, Hugo Boss is considered one of the most famous brands in men's fashion. The story begins in Germany in 1924, when the tailor Hugo Ferdinand Boss opened his tailor shop. They had 33 employees, and they produced men's shirts, sportswear, outwear and rubber hunting gear. The company grew steadily until 1970 when the the company was taken over by the founder's grandson who wanted to move towards ready-to-wear fashion. That's when the famous brand emerged to become a major player in the world of clothing. Today, Hugo Boss has collections for men, women, and children through their two distinct lines: Boss and Hugo.
